If you have RMA'd your notebook to Averatec with good results, please share. Helpful information includes shipping costs, turnaround time, issue(s), how well the issue was resolved and was the issue resolved the first time?
thanks

Sent my 3250 in for an apparent power issue (loose connection somewhere?) 10/31/05. I paid $20 to UPS with ac adapter, battery, my letter clarifying the issues and $800 insurance. Used original box and packing. UPS delivered 11/2. I got it back 11/11. They replace the cpu fan and speaker. I have no idea why. Evidently they trashed my enclosed letter and had no clue how to decipher the Atec ticket. Atec issued call tag for FedEx to pick up today. I don't have to pay shipping again. It's on its way back to Twinhead with a new ticket write up that will hopefully be more clear and concise.
Bottom line: make sure Atec writes up a brief, clear and concise ticket.
Will let you know the rest of the story when I know.
