Having recently had a good look around for something that has a similar spec as an alienware or boxx laptop, ....I came across Rock, not featured on these forums...

I've been rather taken with the XTREME 64 and would like to know people opinions on Rock machines, reliability, value for money etc etc...

    Cheers

    Hi there,

Some of their models are the exact same thing as alienware's. Example: the Pegassus 650 is exactly the same as the Alienware 5500. They are based on the same chasis from a large ODM, Uniwll. Some components, such as fitted harddrive etc may differ.

I have no experience with either company whatsoever, but I thought you'd want to know ;)

    Check them out on www.resellerratings.com

EDIT:: They are listed on Reseller Ratings, but no one has rated them. That being said, I wouldn't buy one from them. But do what you want. Or you can wait til somone rates them, which may be a long wait. I would just try and find the sam computer from somewhere like Sager or something.
