Still 1GB RAM and no USB3. 4x USB with intergrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, on the other hand... Odroid XU4 and C2 look better, to be honest. If C2 had USB3.0, would have ordered right away. Might end up ordering Pi3 to replace my Pi2, though.

USB 3 doesn't make a lot of sense with such a limited performance of the silicon. Add more heat and power consumption too. 1GB RAM is plenty for such a limited performance chip. More would be nice as an option but for 90% of users it probably isn't a necessity. WiFi is the biggest welcome change.

@HTWingNut USB 3.0 for faster i/o makes a ton of sense, actually. Performance is quite good since RPI2, and RPI3/Odroids are even faster. 1GB RAM itself ain't as small, but when main competitor offers 2GB on their updated basic model coupled with noticeably more performance and extra usb port - RPI3 doesn't seem much of an improvement.

ODroid XU4 is $75 and requires 20W PSU. C2 has only USB 2.0 ports, granted 2GB RAM, but it's also $5 more expensive. I know it's not much but for whatever reason Pi's target is $35. They both need 10W PSU. Plus Pi is more universally acknowledged. The C2 definitely is good, but not sure how it can manage within the 10W envelope with the CPU at its clock speed, 2GB RAM of actual DDR3 (not LPDDR3), eMMC + SDCard, and 4 USB 2.0 ports. There's going to be some power limitations there. Granted it does give it some flexibility but a loaded system seems like it will have some issues. All theory though, haven't looked into it enough to know if it's really an issue.
