I have a intel turbo memory module installed and I am having problems with my PC not entering sleep properly. I can try all different ways from closing the lid, pressing the power button, pressing Fn + F2 to selecting it from the power options list on the start menu. All result in the Pc just sitting there with a black screen and eventually no hard drive activity. the WiFi and Power LED's remain lit. I have narrowed it down to the turbo memory module as being the culprit, it seems that if I disable "ReadyDrive" from the intel console everything works fine, only problem is that that means I am no longer using the device for "ReadyDrive" and feel cheated that I have the hardware but can't use it.
Any one else have, or seen this problem?
I am using the latest drivers for the turbo memory and I am running Vista 32.

Try to reboot a couple of times, to be shure TM has been implemented properly to the system

I used to have a problem with my 6024W + TM coming straight out of hibernation.
It was fixed by installing the most recent Matrix Storage driver. Read this thread for more details.

I already have the latest Intel Matrix Storage drives, These and the previous ones stop me from entering sleep when on mains supply. I figured I'd try without mains supply and what do you know. It still doesn't enter sleep, but goes into hibernate instead???????????????????
More searching required I think.. Might even try complaining to intel, but I doubt I'll get anywhere. -

1. Are you running the original Vista or Vista with all appropriate hotfixes or Vista with the SP1 beta? I'm sure that the hotfixes include some relevant problems.
If you haven't got SP1 beta then you may want to wait for SP1 which is said to be imminent.
2. It might be necessary to either uninstall the Turbo Memory driver before updating AHCI or use the update drivers option within Device Manager to ensure that the drivers update properly. You can check the current driver version numbers in Device manager.

I am running Vista with all the updates, but no SP1. I am in two minds as to whether I want to install the SP1 Beta as the official one shouldn't be too long now (I've heard the 15th may be release date-if you beleive the rest of the world that is).
