    Hi Guys,

I've received my 6625WD all is well and happy however I have couple of questions to ask you all..

    1. How do I install the Webcam?

    I've looked through
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=140155
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sho...um.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=191614

and tried drivers on the dvd and on the ftp.zepto.com both never worked for me.

    What happens is..

Orange light is on... windows detects it however can not find drivers for it.

I tried installing the drivers before orange light is on or off. Even tried installing once when it says 'it should show detected successfully in system tray now' I'd quickly press the orange light button, nothing seems to work.

It'd say Error 39 driver is corrupted etc...

    Any ideas?

This is on WindowsXP 32bits by the way.

    Please help.....

I found a little thing too that changes the way the camera works. You see that little switch-like thing to the right of the camera? Press that one down (no force needed), after I did this, my camera stopped BSODing my 6625

    Hm...

I figured it must've been some kind of resource sharing problems..

So I did a fresh reinstall, press the button so webcam is detected.

install the driver, restart my computer and it worked.....

    That was weird!

Another issue, does your left speaker look a bit.. uneven? assembly wise.. it's kinda bulging for me.

I don't really care though... this machine's a beast and speaker quality's far superior than I had imagined...

The bulge occurs in my 6625wd as well, some sort of manufacturing issue
as I know it's occured in several 6625wd laptops (search forums).

I see... I guess it can't be helped then.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how to enable DXVA in PowerDVD? I'm watching some hdtv 1080p and while I am able to playback the clip with cpu around 40% mark, the image stutters.

    Anyone here a HD enthusiast?

No, just some .ts mpeg-2 20Mbps stream files..

I thought by installing latest drivers it should enable the PureVideo function, but it's stuttering quite a bit.. maybe I should keep trying different drivers..
