    Reinstall with AHCI or without AHCI & Vista 32/64 Bits

    Advice please what's the best to do.
    And what version of Intel driver is needed.

    The ahci driver are already included in vista AFAIK since I had it activated when I installed it...

    Correct but is the performance and power consumption with the std driver rom Vista the same as with the new Intel driver.
    Or can i install the latest intel storage utility in windows without any issue.

    Last time I checked the drivers are bundled in the matrix storage utility installer, but I haven't noticed any real boost of my disk performance... There shouldn't be any problem. If Vista don't like the driver it'll just inform you and block the driver.
