If you really, urgently need to use it why not find another display device to output to in the meantime? Even a TV will work...

I need it for long term use. There's no way a TV would work, I need high resolutions for this project. I also have no room in my room for a monitor, keyboard etc.

Installing a new screen on a laptop can be quite the pain depending on the manufacturer and the model.. And of course, it will void warranty, if you don't manage to find some Zepto expert who can disassemble your 6615 without breaking even the smallest plastic piece...

Warranty already void, and it was never practical to send it back to denmark or even the UK.

I'll get someone to I just need to know what screen it can take.

God this is so annoying! Someone has to know. Argh. Hasn't anyone opened a Zepto up and looked to see what would fit it?

You dont normally open the screen to a laptop, not only for the fact that it voids your warranty its really hard on most laptops to do it without damaging the plastic covers on both sides

Most 6615s use Samsung LCDs (sorry, I do not remember the exact modell), but everything with the same specs should normaly work.

If you contact our support department they may be able to sell you a original 6615 LCD.

The quote I was given was around E500 to refit the screen - I can't afford this. LCD screens regularly go for under E200 on ebay - I can get someone to install it if I have the right screen.

If I knew the exact make it'd be really helpful. I was getting used to the screen but dirt/dead pixels have been appearing like crazy lately.

Out of interest; is there a panel that's compatible with the LTN154P1-L03 but is a little brighter? Thanks.

Also OOI I did email Zepto support but they just said it was a Samsung. What other models would be compatible? Would most samsungs?
