Hi! I had a horrible but common problem with the screen WXGA of my FL90 (rebranded as Ibuypower -.- )
Fist, a line of a pixel wide cross the screen from side to side. After some research I founded that this was a common problem. I've checked the conections and everything is fine. When I opened I realised that the problem disapear just pressing the screen at the metal frame on one side.

The problem is that I'm in Argentina and my warranty is in the USA. So my girlfriend (flying attendant) have to take it back to usa and wait for those assh0les of Ibuypower to take their time and fix it in two months...

Due to the cost of shipping it isn't really not so far from buying a new FL90 WXGA 15.4 SCREEN on Ebay. My question is this: Will I have problems replacing the old screen? could I buy a better brand screen and not that... "Chiguagua" that couse me the problem? If I could buy a different brand, could I change it to a WSXGA??? Is there any problem doing that?

Well... I hope you can help me!
    THXXX A LOT!!
    Agust

PD: Ibuypower RMA service SUKS!! really, they are the worst! I like my FL 90 even doe is not crafted with the finest materials, but IBUYPOWER... SUKCSSS. Take months to repair things and only if you call them every day to check the progress. Stay away from them.

yes and you could even go to a wuxga if you want. all lcd's will work as long as they have the standard lvds plug but you may have to re-use the inverter you have now instead of the one that comes with the screen which is no big deal. the only difference would be getting one with the right brackets. the fl90 gets mounted on the sides of the display 4 screws on each side so look for one without upper and lower brackets. imo the chimei that they normally use for the wsxga is a awesome panel. ill get the model number for you when i get home.

Would a WUXGA screen like the LQ154M1LW02 or LP154WU1 ( snatched that from another thread) fit in a jhl90 also?
