Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to reposition the DVD drive, because mine is sticking out a little. I have a Znote 6224. Thank you.

There should be a screw on the bottom of the notebook that you can remove in order to do this. The screw would have a nice little DVD symbol near it.

How does it stick out? The normal complaint is that the 6x24W optical drive is recessed in from the side of the notebook. The bezel / fascia is not hard against the side of the notebook so it feels a little loose. However, this small movement is a normal feature arising from the design of the standard latch mechanism. (When you shut the drive it goes fully in but then moves out slightly to latch into place).

Are you able to take and post a photo?

Well I already tried the little screw on the bottom, and I still couldn't move the Drive but that was a week ago. I'll try tomorrow again but this time with force.

I know it's normal that the bezel is a bit loose, but the thing is when the bezel is closed, the bezel doesn't match with the rest of the case (with case I mean the laptop itself.) So by this I mean it's sticking out of the laptop and not the DVD drive.

I'll make some foto's tomorrow, and thats for the replies.
