I currently have an Aviator FX7 by Hypersonic. What I am currently trying to figure out is the motherboard manufacturer so I'm not only limited to the Hypersonic customer support. Since they did away with this model, I'm getting the feeling they did the same to their customers. All I got from Hypersonic is a VIA K8T890 + VT8237A Chipset Mobile Motherboard for the FX7. I would really appreciate a homepage, where I can find out the latest bios updates and what I can further upgrade this style motherboard to.

I'm not really sure what else you need to know, or where I should start first. I'm not a complete lost, I've been working on computers for awhile. I'm used to desktops where a brand like Abit, or Asus would supply updated information on their boards. At first I started thinking VIA had all the answers, but none I could find. VIA Arena was the only website I could even open, their homepage has been down for some time now.

The Aviator FX7 by Hypersonic is an AMD based laptop with as you say, VIA K8T890 + VT8237A Chipset.

Clevo makes the Hypersonic Aviator FX7 aswell as the Sager NP9750, Voodoo Envy u:709 and Alienware Aurora m7700. Clevo are based in Taiwan and you can find their driver download pages here and front portal here.

What exactly do I search for on the Clevo website? Is it the case, the Aviator FX7 is built on, the D900K? So every laptop case company is building their own motherboards? From now on, all we got to do is find out what kind of case, and that company supports the motherboard as well. I was just figuring the D900K case could bare more than one motherboard. Thus, making me confused finding out the motherboard manufacturer.

I'm still a little bit confused why hasn't Clevo invested any drivers toward Vista? Did this company do away with support for this board as well? I guess I was hoping for some new updated material, Hypersonic PC has vista drivers, where would they have gotten them from?

I have a feeling I'll be sticking with desktop computers from now on.
