This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'd suggest you escalate your claim to the Better Business Bureau. Don't let anyone intimidate you, you deserve your refund.
    I wouldn't have taken down your review if I were you.
    But you really shouldn't have used any threatening language, like you were going to take a ride to AVA to have a "talk" with him. That will only hurt your case.

    Ooopf! Sorry to hear about your ongoing tribulations. I must admit when I saw your first posting, I pulled back from considering AVA Direct as my source for my next computer build. Too bad, because they have some nifty features on their website. I hope things work out... but I don't think your suggesting you are going "ride over there for a little talk" was helpful to your cause.
