If you don't mind waiting a little bit I recommend the FL90 not the FL90e, as it has a better screen and a slightly better GPU and the prices seem to be very similar.

ah been a few weeks since i replied to any of these forum messages, was on holiday for a bit...

Having used the FL90e for a solid month I would say its a very good machine. Its coped with everything i have thrown at it and i'm not much of a hardcore gamer too so its fits the bill...but i know I could still play most games with ease if I wanted to. I'm waiting to give crysis a try on it and see how that fares on this machine...I have a T7300 but also 160GB 7200rpm drive.

I have a belkin n1 router and the wireless is extremely good on these new santa rosa notebooks.

The 256Mb 8600GT can use upto 1GB if you have 2GB ram...so if you're not really a gamer I wouldn't worry still. It'll share like 780MB system memory or something like that.

personally i would drop the t7500 back down to a t7300 and increase the hard drive size to 160gb. the price would be (very) slightly lower and you probably won't notice the difference in cpu speed, whereas 40gb extra space is quite a substantial upgrade if you plan on using the laptop for a few years.
