Heard this is shipping first week of July. Spec + price wise looks fantastic now that they are running a promotion for free upgrade to 4GB of RAM + bag.

What do you guys think? I'm seriously considering this over a XPS M1550.

Also does anyone know how how the cooling systems on the Rizeons perform?

Is this also Compal (as was the JFL90)? If so have a look / ask in the Compal forum to see if anyone knows anything.

Since the Rizeon JHL90 is offered with Peryn processors, I believe its the Compal JFL92. Since Rizeon does not manufacturer their laptops(they mention it here), the cooling should be the same as every other Compal JFL92 and its rebrands like the Sager NP2092(a popular US rebrand of the Compal).

As John mentioned, look in the Compal(as well as the Sager/Clevo) forum for threads about the JFL92/Sager NP2902.

FYI, you will need a 64bit OS to use all of the 4GB and I believe the XPS M1550 should have a 8600m GT with GDDR3 memory which will give a few more FPS then the 8600m GT with DDR2 memory.

Edit: Below poster is correct...it is indeed the the JHL90.

I just ordered mine! :) Its montevina penryn...they're still 45nm right. The only thing current probably until Aug/September is the wireless card because intel have delays on that but i'm not fussed. I'm still using wireless g.

Its actually based on the Compal JHL90, google it. Its so easy that rizeon don't change the model names much. :)

I would think the cooling is the same if not better than the current JFL92.
