    Hi.
I am considering buying a 17" M571, with the 250GB 7,200 RPM SATA, Blu-Ray ROM optical drive, Vista Ultimate 64bit and the 1GB Intel Turbo Memory Card.
I have only just heard of Rizeon and have been pointed (by Rizeon's fast-responding staff) in the direction of 1 review of the M571, which sounded pretty positive except for the keyboard which was apparently a bit flaky and error-prone.
Does anybody else have any any experience of this particular laptop, and/or Rizeon, re reliability, quality of service and value for money?
    Thanks for any input.

    Welcome to the Forum :)

If I were in your position, I wouldn't bother with Vista Ultimate (as you cant natively use bit-locker with the M571RU and that is the only thing Vista Ultimate has over Home Premium) and also wouldn't bother with the 1GB of turbo memory. They are un-necessary extras which just add to the price.

I have heard of Rizeon, but haven't heard anything of their service and support. You can get a laptop which is almost identical to the Rizeon M571 from various other UK vendors as the Clevo M570RU / M571RU is used as a chassis by them. If you are looking for good value for money and good support, I would recommend Novatech ( www.novatech.co.uk) as their X80 is the same laptop (albeit finished in copper rather than Silver). If you want superb service and support and a top notch end product, I would recommend Kobalt ( www.kobaltcomputers.co.uk). The chassis Kobalt use for their "Mojave" is the newer varient of the M570RU (the M570TU) which is based on the Monterveina platform and contains much more up to date technology. It also adds HDMI and E-Sata. If you are looking for a compromise between the two, have a look at www.rockdirect.com at the Xtreme 770 (M570RU) and the Xtreme 780 (M570TU).

    Hope This Helps
