I was wondering if it was possible to run an Audigy 2 zs PCMCIA card as well as a eSataII ExpressCard at the same time on the Compal Hel80?

Anyone try this? I'm not sure if the two will actually fit into the laptop simultaneously.

Well if the express and PCMCIA ports are anything like the ones on the HGL-30, theres no way you'll be able to fit 2 cards into both at the same time. They are stacked on top of each other unfortunatly.

Yeah, that is what I feared!! I wish they had designed it differently....

Having eSata on this laptop would be very nice especially with a Sata HD enclosure.

It will depend on what size the head of the card is, and how you stack them. If they both have heads that are thicker than the part of the card that inserts into the slot then they will conflict.
