    hi,
On my desktop I can set it up so I can watch movies etc. on my tv via the video card. On the 6100 there is only an option of extending the desktop and not cloning it like on my desktop. Is there a setting that I'm missing that's not allowing me to clone the desktop on my laptop?

when you have the svid connected, you would want to make the tv the main monitor. In advanced display properties, and the monitors tab, there will be a circle and box (i think) under neath the Tv, and lcd monitor, the circle is the primary one. Try that.
