    Here are details.
Before this problem occurs, I used my laptop for web surfing for 30 minutes. Then I decided to shut down because I have to go for a while. After I came back to use it again, it powered up for 5 seconds and off without AC adapter. When I connected it with AC adapter it powered up for 5 seconds and off, then powered up by itself again but nothing appear on the screen or any sign that it's operate like normal condition. I also found that CPU fan won't spin when it powered up. Do I have to change the fan only? Or, do I have to check for something more?
    Thank you for advice.

Try unplug both AC and battery and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
Then plug in only the AC adapter and try turn on.

Right, I think you have a dead GPU. If the fan is not working, that means that the HD4650 is not working - and if you are not getting the graphic when it boots, that means the DVI out has no signal.

These are the symptoms I had when my HD4650 died (due to dried out thermal paste) - look at the thread "BenQ S57 Service Manual" for my experience and how to disassemble and reassemble the laptop. The reason it won't boot properly is because there is no VBIOS due to a dead GPU and therefore it shuts down.

The way to test, as I did, is to use the analog plug at the rear and plug into a standalone monitor. You will get a scrambled VGA screen, with coloured vertical bars, but it will at least boot into safe mode.

You will have a problem getting a replacement GPU. BenQ might be able to help. I suggest you look at the thread above.

Of course, it could be the motherboard as well. I have had mine replaced under warranty because the battery wouldn't charge. But I think it is your VGA card.

    cheers

There is just one chip called "power control unit" which cause this problem. Benq authorized service center tried to replace it but they failed (at least, it can boot BIOS but it can't boot any OS). Then they suggested me to replace its motherboard which has very high price. So, do you guys have s57 motherboard which is in good condition?
PS : Maybe I should consider sell it as parts.
