Need some advice. I need to buy a laptop. My personal preference is a thin light laptop that looks nice. Something of a Asus S5N color and dimensions.

Alternatively, if I am getting a high performance machine like the Sager 3790-V laptop 2.1 ghz Pentium M, with 2 gigs of Ram and 60 GB hard drive @ 7200 rpm, my inclination changes.

I am not into gaming but I would want a high performance machine that will do me two years and still be up there in terms of specs.

One of my concerns is how is the warranty for these Sager laptops. Are they responsive if something goes wrong (hardware)

My other cocern is the battery life though. I read somewhere claiming that the the battery life can go upto 5 hours ! is this true ?

Do these laptops get really hot because of all the impressive power.

    Thanks ..
