This is from the Sager site.
    I pre-ordered this and the ProStar 5722-3A
They're the exact same laptop from different manufacturers.
The reason for me to pre-ordedr both is that i need to know who is gonna deliver it to me cheaper. I'm ordering internationally, from Malaysia.
Which one do you guys think i should cancel? And should i get the extended warranty?

If they are the same, does it matter? It is probably the same ODM. As for the warranty, if there is a defect it is most likely to happen in the first year, not to say something can't happen after. If it gives peace of mind it may worth it, but it is more likely you'll break it or have it stolen. Good Luck.

It matters to me because of shipping charges. Since international orders are not given a true shipping charge. And they're the same piece from Clevo i assume.

Where are the vendors shipping out of? I'd get the machine from the 'closest' dealer. Wouldn't the shipping charges be very similar?

Oh, and BTW, that is one sick beast of a laptop you have there. :D

Yea, relatively cheap too. But i am worried about the warranty. It's a bltch to send it all the way to the US from Malaysia just for servicing. I don't know the shipping procedures of both companies for international orders. That's why i had to pre-order both. The Dell Inspiron 9300 is in the running as well, mostly because they have it locally in Malaysia.

These are both Clevo Model M570A, and as far as I have been able to tell Sager and ProStar are the exact same company. I have done a ton of research on both of these companies and as far as I can tell they are indeed the same company even down to the exact same warranty.

The 760 is overkill I think. Get the 750 and save yourself some money. You will not notice a performance difference compared to the 760.

I checked it out on the site, the change does not decrease the price if i keep everything else the same. It actually increases it by a bit.
