    Sup,

If anyone hasn't seen it yet: https://www.mysn.de/xmg-neo-gaming-laptops/xmg-neo-15

Looks pretty good and the cooling system visible in the Video looks beefy enough. Shame that it lacks Thunderbolt 3 and has just a tiny battery.

@Dan@Dan thanks for posting! Any chance the title of the thread could be changed? There's no "Schenker" in the name, it's just "XMG Neo 15" - "Schenker" is our office/workstation brand. Not blaming you, it's something that reviewer websites continue to do all the time and it confuses everyone ;-)

Yup, it uses that chassis but it's not the same as the other versions available - ours is sandblasted aluminium and we have a better keyboard installed. Unfortunately they cancelled the larger battery option that we were going to offer at launch - nothing we can do about that.

The Neo 15 will be available at the end of May, there should be more language keyboards available towards the end of the month.

The shape and feel of the keys are different and in our opinion better, having tested both versions. Both are mechanical keyboards, so the sound is the same but the keyboard typs is part of the USP of the laptop.

I can't say for sure; personally I think it's unlikely that there will be an option to buy and install a larger battery in the same chassis but rather it will be an option in the next gen. But as I say, I don't know for definite at the moment - I just don't want to get people's hopes up by promising something that isn't defined yet.

Don't think it's user changable :( Didn't know you lads seperated the branding. Back when i got my P370EM from you it was called Schenker XMG if i remember correctly.

Does XMG have a English website to order from that converts to US dollars?
If heard great things about XMG and there laptops always get high reviews but I’m a little hesitant to order from them because I can’t read the language on there site and want to know exactly how much I’m paying for upgrades. ( I may be able to get parts like RAM or storage cheaper here)

    @XMG
Do we have the possibility to phisically see and try the Neo 15 (and its keyboard) in any store here in Berlin?

Mechrevo is the sales brand from the chassis ODM, Tongfang (as mentioned in post 2 of the thread).

    Yes!

    - Neo 15 will be available from the end of May (though you can pre-order it on our website now)

    - We will have it in multiple stores from June/July, including Berlin and all the other major German cities. I can't give details at the moment as no official public announcement has been made yet. If you keep an eye on the XMG social media you'll see more news in a month or so.

Yes the website has an english version as for the conversion I don't think that's possible, it is likely you can get parts for cheaper in the US on the other hand.

So the battery upgrade is a stillbirth? that's sad, before this news y only problem with it was the noisy keyboard but now It definitely doesn't make the list with a small battery...

@XMG any stores in UK you will sell this in?. Also would I have to pay custom tax if I buy it from your website?

[ RE the battery - this is a laptop with a mechanical keyboard, that was one of the core features in the design brief - so noise is inevitable as it's aimed for the customers (mainly gamers) who want a mechanical keyboard ]

Sorry, I missed the original question but @12-7DN already replied. To confirm, our current website is in English, German and French by geo-location. If it doesn't change to the correct language automatically, you can click on the flags on the top right to switch language.

We can accept bank transfer payments in EURO, GBP and USD but you'd need to contact our sales department directly about this info @ mysn .de so they can create a custom order with the different currency for you. Just bear in mind that the warranry is 24 months or more (if you upgrade) with parts, support and labour included - however shipping costs are only covered inside Europe. We decided not to offer a global shipping warranty for additional charge as in our experience it's more cost effective (taking into account RMA rate and so on) to deal with any shipping costs as, if and when they're necessary.

If you order from anywhere in Europe as a private customer, you only pay the website price. This includes German 19% sales tax. If you order from the UK for example, you don't pay anything extra than the website price plus shipping. If you order as a company with a registered tax ID, of if you order from outside Europe then the 19% tax is removed. There is a "B2B" link at the bottom of our homepage to deal with zero rated tax sales for EU businesses.

At the moment we don't have products in physical stores in the UK, however we have some things in the works ;-)
