Hey..
Well, I've got a 6625WD which ive had since mid febuary.
Earlier ive noticed scratches on the chassis. Nothing that bothered me though.
Now today i noticed some very annoying scratches on the screen itself, approximately in the middle. The scratches on the chassis matches the edges around the screen and the scratch on the screen matches the space between the touchpad and the keyboard.
I have never had anything lying inside the laptop while being closed or having anything touching the screen which could cause theese scratches, and as i said they match areas around the chassis.
I have written a message to Zepto stating the problem. I can live with the scratches on the chassis, but the scratches on the screen are unacceptible.
Now i was wondering if anyone else has had experience with similar scratches on the 6625WD.
And what would you think i can expect from Zepto? Just a new screen? new laptop? refund?..
Anyway, thanks for reading and i hope you have some good answers.

I had those scratches on my 3415W, not any big scratches though.
And no i didnt make those scratches either, but i got the screen replaced because of a dead pixel so i don't really care anymore. -
First of all, try to clean it. I common that customers contact us regarding what they think is scratches, but turns out to only be dirt. Use some good cleaning gel.
-
Well, for example my screen got scratches from bottom to top, full lines with about a centimeter between each other, though their not visible unless you turn the screen off and look from a weird angle.

Well. Ive tried to clean it away with both LCD cleaning stuff and normal cloth with water and a tiny bit of soap and none of it worked out. So dirt is out of the picture.

Well, i turned it off and looked but i can only find the scratches that i mentioned earlier...
I just wrote a message to Zepto's support center about the problem and what they were going to do about it.
Im not sure if i really want to have just a new screen or something because the problem will just abe there again.
So i kind of told them that i would rather want a refund or just the possibility of choosing another of their products. But i wont have their answer untill tomorrow.

Tough luck, hope your problem gets solved, ours still remains as far as I'm concerned...

I am going to call the support but proberbly the danish support
.. and as ive said ive already written a message to the support team at zepto.dk.
I know my problem wont be solved by posting here. The main goal of posting here was to see wether or not other people have had the same problem.

Anyway, this is a rather common laptop issue that can be caused by the screen getting too much pressure and being pressed down onto the keyboard while the lid is shut. Perhaps while being carried around. The best way to prevent this from happening is to have a protective cloth between the screen and the keyboard while carrying it around. -
Iv had my 6625 since august 07, no scratches whatsoever on the screen. Not any marks or anything from keyboard.
You shure you havent accidentally put pressure on it when it has been closed? The space between screen and keyboard is kinda non-existing so a little pressure can do damage.
If you plan on placing some cloth between tthe screen and keayboard make shure its very thin or the protection can damage the screen -
Yep, like Sprint mentioned, use a LCD specific fiber cloth, very usefull to take dust or fingerprints of the screen and you can also use it as a layer between the screen and they keyboard.
Especially when you have the laptop in a bag/backpack which is also stuffed with some books, you can inflict too much pressure on the screen lid.
Scratched caused by the computer itself :S ?!?
