    Setting compal fan speed

    As seen below, Compal lists a lot of info in their service manuals:

    A lot of this includes info on how to change the fan speeds. Below is the address to set my fan speed to max:

    This is only a small part of the fan setting available. You can also select specific fan speeds, read the fans RPMs, and more.

    So I'm wondering what are these ports that the service manual lists, and how can I write to the memory offsets. What are the offsets even offset from? Seems like it might be pretty easy to make a fan control program like Dells have.
