    Shipping for IFL90/Sager 2090?

    I'm looking to get a Sager 2090 (IFL90) from either powernotebooks or xoticpc. I would want to get it before the beginning of August, is that possible or are they not shipping until early to mid August? Also, what are everyone else's shipping dates?

    Details are still a bit iffy regarding the supply of the IFL90s, but from estimates, there was supposed to be a shipment today but I haven't heard anything that confirms this. Shipping's a real unpredictable industry, don't count on real hard dates until the supply comes in numbers from wherever they're making the IFL90s from. At the moment, the rest of us are waiting and don't really have a tentative estimate, though by this week is a really optimistic view while mid July-mid/late July is more realistic and August being pessimistic, IMO.

    Donald said in a post in here somewhere that on Wednesday if you call your reseller they may have more info, so best bet may be to call them in a couple days and keep your eyes peeled in here as well.

    I dunno. Based on the backlog we keep hearing about, ordering today and getting it before August seems kind of optimistic to me. I guess it all depends on the size of this next order and how many pre-orders are actually in...

    Originally they were expected sometime mid to late June. You can expect it some time fiscal year 2009.
