This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Short battery life

    Bought this about 6 months ago. Very happy - love it! Problem?...

    On battery only mode, I get to about 50% left and then it just suddenly powers off - no warning, just black screen and silence. I didn't think XP (or whoever manages that area in there!) allowed this behavior. No mention on Sharp tech support . Incidentally, that is an awful support site IMHO. Anyway, I'm thinking of taking it back (a Sam's impulse purchase - but WITH the 3 year warranty for once).

    Any similar experience with battery life?
