I found a really good offer on the 6324W, ~ 12000 swedish kronor for a computer with really nice specs.
But after reading here im getting really worried.
Everyone seams to have big problems when playing games.
Im going to use my computer to play games like wow and hl2
(not only games but anyway).
Should I buy it, or should I wait or just get a dell?

I don't know what that translates to in USD, but if it's a good deal, I would go for it.

About 1,795 USD for this
14,1" WXGA+ 1440x900 - 6324W
2.40 GHz Intel C2 DUO T8300 800MHz 3MB
4096MB (2x2048MB) DDR2 667/PC5300 SODIMM
Intel Pro/Wireless 4965AGN - 300Mbit
MS Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit - SE
SAMSUNG DVD-RW Dual-Layer
NVIDIA® Geforce 8600M GT -
I would wait... the hardware is great, specially for the money... when it works!! But trust me.. its NOT worth a single penny of it when it doesnt. I would defernetly wait till summer and get the new series proberly with a low/midend 9xxx gpu and a new intel chipset/cpu.
-
That was just what I was thinking.
Even its a great price, its a lot of money for something that its working properly. -
And Zepto isn't the best quality-wise....if you can wait and check some other options out, I would do that.
-
I have to put in the well-know little note here:
People that have problems with their laptop (or pc overall) comes to these kinds of forums to talk (and sometimes whine lol) and try to seek for a solution.
But they who dont have any problems dont come, wich makes it look like everyone has problems. With my 6625, I havent had a single problem, nothing. It has been nothing but awsome! -
Glad to hear it. Just saying that he should be aware that some people are not happy with Zepto quality. And don't think it's just your brand. I would warn someone before buying a Dell XPS M1530 that some people have had complaints.
-
I have ordered a 6625WD and am waiting for it to arrive, it is good value for money I think given the spec. I did have an M1530 but the awful screen meant it went back. There is always something better round the corner. I needed mine quickly so I ordered it...they offer a 14 day period to return it if you are not happy?

The risk of getting a crappy 8xxx gpu is reason enough that I would wait.. specially when its known that some with zeptos has problems.
Id rather go and buy a toshiba where im sure this issue has been fixed due to a bios update.
Should I w8?
