Someone from Zepto can help me with the order?

Hi,
I ordered a Zepto 6324W from germany last week. My problem is that I only have some weeks left, before my working travel outside germany. Today the unfriendly guy from the german customer service just told me to cancel the order, if I can not wait for 2 more weeks. He didn't even take a look at my order

Can someone help me? Or do I really have to cancel the order?

Did your order include anything which is not currently in stock?

Go through the configuration and check if any of the components have a yellow or red mark by them. Over two weeks is a long time to just be in the queue although the recent special offers on some models may have stimulated a rush of orders.

thanks for advice. I have checked, and it's true, the 12+6 Cell is yellow dotted, the Intel Turbo Memory is even no more available.
Can I take a change in the order list to speed it up?

I wrote them emails, but never got an answer. Thinks it's their usual business behaviour there

There's something strange: I'm looking at the 6324W on the Zepto UK site and if I take the value version of the 6024W and configure it to your spec (with the exception of 6 cell battery only) then it is at 6 days. Adding the 12 cell battery takes it over 34 days. If I take the performance version of the 6324W and configure it to the same specs then it just says "over 12 days" whatever options I selection.

Perhaps ZeptoUK can clarify what is happening?

The Zepto UK site shows the Turbo Memory as available now but the big battery must be on back order (they should have just received a batch). An alternative may be to have a second 6 cell battery or get Zepto to send the big battery later.

There are no 12-cell batteries available at all. The manufacturer can't even give an est. (Heard from a zepto employee on a swedish forum)

 

If only they talk to me.
The real joke is that if I do reorder now (just without Turbo mem and 6+12 cell), I get a delivery estimation about 7 days (last order was even without any estimation), and it is nearly 400€ cheaper

Maybe I just reorder and see what comes first. I choose the pay after delivery option anyway

@John: maybe they have more Celerons in stock than Core 2 Duos. Or its just a trick to sell off more Celerons

I have just checked and the Turbo Memory is in Stock, The 12cell batteries are out of stock until around the 22nd of october. This is later than expected because we were expecting them around the 14th of September.
We can take an order that includes the 12cell battery and we will deliver the notebook and then the battery at a later date if you wished.

FYI: I mainly deal with the Uk customers but am more than happy to help out with any sales or customer service enquiry that people may have, as long as it is written in English. I cannot promise miracles but I am in the prime place to either deal with the issues or to find the correct person to deal with them
