    Why do you need it?
Versions for laptop computers are mostly expensive and extremely low quality, what can you put in the small case of express card? IMHO desktop computer are the best for making ultimate multimedia/gaming computer, laptops are suitable for using as a mobile workstation and maybe some casual gaming.
But if you steel consider it worthy, there is a Creative Sound card X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook (express card) + Speaker Docking Module to make more then just analog stereo possible.

I still like to listen nice music or get a good sound from any media application being played, news, movie trailer, etc. when I'm at my desk. And the sound from an external card are better quality than the internal one, in all sense, power, sound quality and density, etc. I used to have a sound blaster for another laptop and the quality was like day and night when compared with the internal chipset/card.

Try the Creative X-Fi if you aren't anti-Creative. I'm going to get it sometime soon and I've heard a lot about it and the X-Fi effects.

Just in case you know, there is nor X-Fi processing unit inside of there. :)
Here's one review, but you tane compare RightMark results with other desktop cards. I own X-Fi Xtremegamer card, and there is much more options in the Audio Console with it.
