I'm going on a business trip to Miami for perhaps 3 days. Too short a time to order a laptop. Does anyone know of good stores I could visit there to buy one?

I plan to spend no more than $1600 for an AMD64, 1gb ram, 15.4" screen, 9700 engine, 5400 rpm HD and wireless "g". That's the usual price I've seen online.

    Thanks

PS. I live in Peru and any boxed item sent by mail must pay up to 60% in taxes. That's why I must buy it and unpack it in the US.

Which notebook are you wanting to buy? Or are you asking for help in that decision?

I want to buy a custom made Athlon 64 notebook with ATI Radeon 9700 GPU. Not willing to pay US$ 400 extra for the Ferrari logo or a crippled-down machine with a popular brand name. Im the web I have only seen those for delivery, though.
