I have been looking for quite a while now and I have found this deal on a Cyberpower Gamer Explorer 70.

    http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/system/ntbkukx70.asp?v=d

It seems good but I am unsure about the processor. I am not bothered about it having to be 64-bit, because I will be happy enough to stick to XP when Vista arrives.

Any help would be hugely appreciated as I would like to order either tonight or tommorow. I would just like to know your opinions really, and maybe a couple of reviews..etc.

    Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt recommend that laptop. Firstly its a single core Turion - dual core processors are the way to go now. Also the x700 is an older generation card - with 2 generations beyond that in the pipelne fore release very soon.

Fill out the FAQ and im sure we can find you a much better laptop.

I agree, it's hardly cutting edge especially for the price.

For that money you could easily get an X1600 gpu and a dual core cpu.

Cyberpower has great desktops -- cost-efficient, powerful, great systems, and you can return them for a full refund, no baloney restocking fee.

Laptops? Not so much. I wouldn't buy one from Cyberpower. Their bread-and-butter: desktops.
