Here's the problem.
My T7700 processor, wont clock higher then 790mhz. I am running Windows XP Pro sp3 (the official microsoft version) with the latest update. I also recently installed the latest bios.
What also bothers me is that i cant open RMClock anymore. I get an error while starting it up:
"Not all system processors are available to the process. The application cannot continue."
Anyone had this before?
ps: I also have tried every scheme in Windows Power Managment

It won't clock up even under load? Is RMClock bugged and holding the clockspeed down? When did this start?
-
RMClock wont even start, i get the error and then nothing happens.
And no, not even under load (playing a 1080p movie is horrible)

Which Zepto model? Also make sure that Speedstep is enabled in the BIOS.

How do i enable speedstep in bios? I cant seem to find it anywhere..
It is a 6625WD

That screenshot seems to be showing something faster than 800MHz (ie 1.6GHz, but T7700 should be faster than that).
Maybe RMClock has got confused. Go into the RMClock folder and run RMClockWipeout.reg to clear all the settings, then rerun. If it runs make sure you set mobile CPU on the advanced page.
As for the BIOS, I'm sure there's a stack of CPU-related settings but SpeedStep may have a different name. I don't have access to a Zepto BIOS to check.

Try shutting down, unplugging main&battery, hit power button, leave it for a while and stand without power. Might reset some deep-level confusing (of BIOS update or smth like that) on the chipset.
Just a tought -

*completely out of ideas* -
Maybe a re-install? Could be just a faulty setting in Windows..

Good idea, tough i hade some problems before with microsoft and installing.. Data disapearing etc..
So now i am backing up my data to an external drive, then just a clean install.. -
Just did a clean isntall, all works fine now.. Had some problems with the HDA bus in windows xp SP3, but got it fixed..

First of all, Windows XP is not good at gauging clock speed, you're better off with CPU-Z.
Secondly, what's your power profile on? left click on your plug/battery icon once and make sure it's on something.. standard, like Laptop/Desktop or Always On to be sure you're getting the best performance at all times.
T7700 wont clock at higher speeds
