Is TANDY from Radio Shack / Texas still around?

I got a Tandy 600 from them back in 1985.
That was the first year I got into computers. I also got my first desktop that year. I kept these as a reminder like my first dollar ever made. I bet these computers are older than some of you folks!!!

I showed a photo shot from my computer room before I got the Dell XPS.

These are both made in 1985. I even have the manuals.

I show whole room as well so you know these pixs were NOT taken at a museum.

In 1985 i was 15 , my first computer was an Oric 1 with 48k of memory.

I think my favorite computer while growing up was an Amiga it was amazing.

Tandy ... ahh old memories, I never has the 600. but did have the TRS-80 models 1 and 2. also known as the Trash 80's but they were a fantastic computer back in ... oh 80 or 81 I think. I went to a C-64 Christmas of 82 .... then over to Amiga's ... then Mac's in about 87 or 88.

Toss in some Compugraphic imagesetters ( 1978 - 1986 ) and an Apple II somewhere in that pile too.

oddly enough never got into the windows side heavily until 2011 ;)

Tinderbox ... you just dated yourself into being close to MY age !!!!
