I can't seem to get my TV-out working. When I switch the output using Fn + F3, the TV screen flickers for a second and during that flickering I can see the laptop screen, but then it turns black again.

I've tried numerous settings, but I really can't get it working.
    I'm using the 91.47 drivers...

Right-click on desktop -> properties -> settings tab -> advanced -> GeForce tab -> (to the left) find a page were you can activate & deactivate outputs (I don't have it currently and dont know what it's called in english..)

And make sure you've got the TV connected before attempting to activate the output....
    Good luck :)

Yeh I've tried pretty much every setting there. And I can actually see my desktop on the TV for a split second, but then it's gone again and turns black.

I don't own a Compal HEL80 yet, but figured i'd chime in; make sure you have it set to the right setting, i.e. "NTSC" and not "PAL" if you are in the US. Also you may want to try a different cable, i'm assuming you are using svideo? I've had cheaper svideo cables go bad before and when I replaced them with a bit higher quality ones, it started working again and looked great.

Good luck. I'm thinking of getting an HEL80 and would be using the svideo for work related stuff. Hope this isn't a problem with the onboard connector or processing chips. Keep us posted.

I will. Going to buy a new cable first, see if that helps... Thanks for the help so far.

It may be time to give your reseller's support line a call. They should be able to walk you through the procedure.
