Had a small problem with my new 6625WD.
They took it back and fixed it within 7 days. They picked it up via UPS and deliverly back all working safe and sound.
I would like to express my thanks to them. The guy I spoke to from the UK is Ian
and was a great help.
Anyone looking for a laptop I would recommend Zepto.
Now if only every CS department was like this company....![]()

That's good news.
It looks like Zepto's remodelling of their service dept is producing benefits. A few months back notebooks were taking several weeks to get fixed.

I would have gone with a 6625wd is it weren't for the cheap keyboard..

oh dont complain its not that bad, you just have to get use to hitting the buttons instead of just touching them

I suspect the perception of cheapness has come from the recent thread about the cost of a keyboard. In reality Zepto is just not taking a big margin on a spare keyboard. The price is close to the true cost and that cost would be much the came for a keyboard with a softer action. Earlier this year I bought a small external keyboard with a very good action for US$9.

Sorry John,
but I agree with Zagnut, it may similarly priced to quality keyboards, but
the keyboard quality itself can (to me) only be desribed as cheap.
Maybe it's just me, but even if I made inexpensive laptops, the keyboard
should still have a certain level of professional craftsmanship as it's the
primary (most likely) tool for accessing your computer. It seems to be
the wrong area to cut corners... if you're so inclined
But that's just me, I like a nice keyboard that isn't as loud as the computer's
fan... er.... wait a sec...
Thanks ZEPTO!!
