    www.bto.eu check the site for new prices.
    They sell the new Compal JFL92 and they will sell start selling the new Compal machine with the new NVIDIA GPU, meaning this a new design.
    It will also be delivered with the new Penryn CPU with the 1066 FSB and it will be based on the new Montevina chipset.

    I may contribute saying that Compal in Spain is sold as Ahtec (and according to their web page, also in The Netherlands and Belgium).

    Correction to the FAQ: ISTNC is dead.

    Nice FAQ, though. Good to know who really makes the laptops, but wish there were a vendor that actually did heavy customizations (1920x1080 matte screen on a 14.1" laptop with an ODD).

    thanks and sorry for the very late reply, im not as active on this site as I'd like to be, but ISTNC is removed.. discountlaptops too..
    its nice that power notebooks and xoticpc are still here though.. I've seen alot of barebones companies come and go..but these guys outlasted most of them.

    They're [Bizcom (Compal)] no longer in Ontario and don't have a Canadian presence anymore, they are now California-based.
