Yes, this have been up a lot of times im sure but im wondering.. Am i the only one who its becoming insane over that i cannot browse the god internet, without my Nexus' fan start spinning retardedly much..I have the newest BIOS and its set to 75, but that doesnt really help jack because then the cpu just goes up to 75 celcius instead and then the fan starts there, which cools it about 10 celcius but its quickly up at 75 again and like this it continues..

Are you guys just fine with this? I think its friggin incredible... Ive undervolted, underclocked, tried to use power saver in Vista but nothing helps at all...Why doesnt it have a cooler that atleast can hold it a bit down while not being stressed... without that noise.. jeees

    /Rant over.

PS - The title was suppos to say "The God D*mned Fan" lol..

Sæt den til 55 så går den ikke i max omdrejninger når den skal køle ned.

Hmm.. Using 55 celcius is nice in the way its more silent but its constant to..
But its easier to get used to i guess since its not silent then max noise then silent and so on..

Oh it just stopped lol... well.. It'll probably start in 10 secs again.. i'll use this for a bit and we'll see..

EDIT: Already prefer it! Rather this low noise that turns on and off a bit (its not constant) than the other one.. thanks!

Hah, this makes the fan seem less of an issue to the zeptos. Interesting

theres no heating problem.. it just runs at wrong times and to loud.. but using 55 celcius instead of 65 or 75 is way better when in school ect. I like it

yup putting it a 55 helps, but it is noisy the same. The problem is the fan speed.. it just starts, doesnt change if the temperature is 50-60-70 or whatever degrees.

Moreover this temperature is about the gpu, not the cpu that (at least mine) is always under 30 degrees.

But hey.. on monday they will take this notebook back and i will not care anymore.

By the way the customer service now, with the live chat, is lovely. Too late though, I took my decision already.

Returning it because of the noise? its a gaming laptop what did you expect? I had an Asus G1S, and im telling you, it was ing worse... The GPU became like 100 Degress, and the CPU so hot to, and waaay noisier.. Atleast the zepto cooler actually COOLS the pc when its on..

Can't you put on an older BIOS?
When I reviewed the Mythos 2 months ago I haven't had noise-problems at all!

And I agree wit RebDK: When you buy a Ferrari..
Are you going to the dealer and going to complain about the noise?

Don't cars have some kind of microcontroller-computers nowdays? Just find a fitting slot to stuff your downgrade discs :)

Just download the older bios from the zepto ftp and install it like you would a new one. There is nothing preventing a bios downgrade. It doesn't even warn you that you are installing an older version, it just does it.

I wouldn't recommend using a Nox BIOS for the Nexus or vice versa, would probably give more problems that what good is.
