I believe that that is DEP showing it's head. You may have a virus or something on your machine causing those errors, or it could be just program bugs. You should do a full virus scan, and if it doesn't find anything, you can turn off DEP for everything except essential Windows services, which should clear up the issue.

Re installation might do it too.

This message is one of the hardest to correctly diagnose. It could be a hardware issue (either ram, motherboard, hard disk, graphics card, or cpu), or a software issue.

After spending months trying to figure out why I was getting these messages, I got a brand new laptop, and sure enough I got these messages. So for me obviously it was the combination of software that I am using.

Your best bet is a virus scan, followed by a clean reinstall of the OS.

Ok, do me a favor: Right click on "My Computer", go to "Properties", then the "Advanced" tab, and then click the "Settings" button under the "Performance" groupbox, then the "Data Execution Prevention" tab, and ensure that only the top radio button is selected, the one that says "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only". If that is checked, you are probably looking at a hardware issue, or perhaps a rogue plugin, bad install of Flash or Java or something. Or possibly an unknown virus or trojan, but if your scan is clean, that's pretty unlikely.

Only the top radio button was selected. :( I´m going to do a full virus scan tonight, and after that i´m going to reinstall windows, and if the message doesen´t stop after that then it´s back to warranty service for several months.

I don't know the law, but if a product cannnot be fixed within a certain amount of time (30 days?) they must replace the product. I could be wrong.

I've seen this message when a program tries to access memory it's not allowed to. I'd say it's a bug. Installed any software or Firefox extensions recently? Or maybe you're running some software on Vista that thinks its on XP? Just guesses...

Good to hear :) AV software is flaky at best, but unfortunately pretty much necessary in the Windows world.
