    Cool! Brings me closer to deciding what I should pick. 19 days till delivery still sound pretty long.

    Now when i'm looking at these new models (6224W & 6324W), they seem to look very much like the previous 14,1" models with 7600 go (6314W and the black one). At least the case looks pretty same. Now i started to wonder, how can they put more powerful components in same frame than their predecessors without making more overheating problems? :O

    The body is the same for the 6214 and 6224W. Same goes for the 6615 and 6625. The inside however is all new. New mainboard, new screen, new graphics, new cooling system.

    @CFUtd
    It always takes a few days before it is available at the other shops. The ETA at the DK shop is 18 days so dont worry about it. It will be available in a few days and then you can order and you get one just as fast as the DK people.

    hmmm I thought I read somewhere that the cooling was built around the same idea as in the 6214?!
    Have I got it wrong?
    The one big thing that makes me wonder if I should get a bigger or different model than the 6224 is the cooling...
    another friend of mine just started having heat issues with his 6214 :S

    Isnt it the exact same hardware as the 6224w, just different colors? Are prices going to be about equal when you have finished updating the sites?

    I wonder if it is a painted 6224W or if it is made of white plastic. If painted then what happens with scratches and does the paint peel off?

    Anybody know how it was with the 6314?

    I own a 6314W, and have owned for 3-4 months. Based on my experiences, i'd definately say that it's white plastic. Doesn't seem some paint to me, at least i haven't noticed anything peeling off from the case. :)

    It is white plastic that is used, not a white paint. I have not heard of any problems with it peeling off or discolouring in any way. Hope this helps

    About the cooling solution it's a completely re-designed version in the 6224/6324W compared to the 6214/6314W.
