I just put a new thin coat of thermal paste onto my cpu. I saw my 8600mGT gpu right under it, and was wondering if I could put some thermal paste on it too. It has a square in the middle like the cpu, where I think I could apply thermal paste? Is this a good idea? Thanks.

Yes, but only about 1/2 a bb's worth right in the middle, and don't spread it.
