omg it has just arrived, the old one should be at nu systems as we speak

    going to open it now

Running the heat test now, the screen is both nicer and poorer then the old matte I had, im not one of these glossy fans, but its a nice glossy.

and when I upgrade next year more people will be interested in buying a glossy then a matte.

66°C on CPU under full load? That's friggin low - they must have tuned your book with AS5. :D

I'm idleing at 54°C with 1GHz according to NHC. From the air that comes out of the cooling system I'd say that's true.

    1. actually we do use AS5 now, due to the better heat dissapation, but it was only 1-2 celcius difference from the ceramique we used before

    2. i actually see NHC reporting very close to what i would call accurate numbers based on the latest bios, however i am checking with the factory to verify results, and feedback if NHC could be called reliable. I think some of the problems may have been that its not always the same chip on the MB, but as i dont design the PCB layout myself, its hard to say

it depends which heat sensor you select in nhc, the default for me hits over 80 yet is near 70 in coretempnl
