    Hey,
i´m very happy that i´ve found your page! i´m from germany and please sorry of my english.

I´ve a Notebook (XP SP2) with a T082L and i was really stupid and íve done the firmware update withe the wrong firmware SH00. Now Windows not be able to recognize the drive.

Could anybody be so kind and tell me what i can do? in my BIOS i don´t have any chances to do any other presets, for example "master" or "slave".

I´ve expanded my HDD an took on a jumper in different places but windows doesn´t recognize the drive. So, i won´t be able to do another firmware update to the right version (SB00).

Has anybody an idea what i could do (except to destroy the drive! :D )

    Thank you very, very much!!!
    Bye
    Juergen

I bought a cake of lightscribe cdr's but now I have a problem. My computer won't recognise them.

My notebook is Zepto 6024W with WinXP Pro SP3, drive is SN-T082A, firmware upgraded to SH00, lightscribe drivers installed... I've tried with Nero cover designer and 'lightscribe simple labeler' but no luck. They just spit out the cd and ask for a lightscribe disc.

Answer for two of your first questions: ;)

    1. Yes, they really are lightscribe compatible cdr's.
    2. Yes, I'm inserting them label side down.

    Any suggestions?

edit: and yes, I've checked with Nero infotool that my drive supports lightscribe
