    To Zepto staff who visit the board - any news on a new faster GPU model laptop?

    The 8600go, or other similar GPU chipsets for laptops are meant to be debuting within the next few months, do you have any news of a release of a new model of Zepto to take advantage of these more powerful GPUs, and if so, an expected price range for the range.

    I'm looking at a £1080 6615 laptop with the 7600go right now (with the online discount on the 6615), and would be quite willing to wait a month if they laptops with the new GPU chipset are due imminently, and would be purchasable with a similar spec as the comparable 6615, but costing upto £1200-1250 to account for the newer, more powerful 8600go graphics.

    If you do plan to offer the 8600 go in the next couple of months, will they be available for the 14.1" laptops or just the 15"+?

    I had a brief EMail correspondence with a couple of guys at Zepto earlier this year. I think they are waiting for Intel to launch Santa Rosa before debuting their new lineup, but he did confirm that the GPU would be updated. He didn't say to what though....

    Does anyone know when Santa Rosa is due? Everyone was saying Q1 2007, but there's only three weeks left of that.
