    ok...i need a new laptop...
    i really like the 13" widescreen but i keep seeing mixed review...
    some are fine but others are not so good...
    is it worth getting
    BTW it is the 4155EH1 for 899

    I like the Compaq v2000z as a budget notebook, but it is 14".

    Just went to Costco today to check out the Averatec 4200 and two other 14" notebooks, saw very little difference in screen sizes.

    i think MSI also makes a 12" widescreen turion notebook(available in white). might want to check that too if want to go smaller.

    I think the MSI 12" notebooks are the same ones that Averatec carries. It seems Averatec OEMed from MSI, and sell pre-configured machines based on that model.
