    Hi all,

My TongFang GK5CN6Z keyboard started to have a life of its own, sending random characters even when I'm not typing. I opened it, disconnected the keyboard ribbon cable to the motherboard and the issue stopped so I know its a keyboard malfunction. Not sure if the problem is with the ribbon cable, keyboard electronics or some bad contact. Anyone had this kind of issue and successfully replaced the keyboard on this portable PC?

No, my solution for now is to use an external keyboard.
I found this link that looks like the good ribbon cable, but didn't have the time to search for the keyboard. Maybe over Aliexpress?

I was having the same issue with my GK7CP0S and solved it by removing one button at a time pulling it to myself whats underneath (upwards) and blowing as strong as I can :) I know it's not the smartest solution but it worked. I think some dust or sticky thing makes the keys extra sensitive there so blow it away.
