Battery : 92wh
And another one with :

It would be great to see how thermals are, battery life and and screen quality! The 10875H is quite a different beast than the 9750H
If you know of any reviews, please post them here -
Yes i will, there is already some review of the previous version with i7 9750H but i think this will be different
On the previous version thermals was great for the form factor but fan was a bit louder than other laptop of this category -
Here is a Review of the first model focused on the i7 10875h CPU, there is some other information also.

Specs:
Display: Full HD 144hz 72% NTSC 100% RGB 17" (no GSYNC)
CPU: i710875h
GPU: 2070 Super MaxP 115w
RAM: 16go 2933mhz cl15
SSD: 1to 970 Evo Plus
Battery: 92wh
Wifi 6: Intel AX200
Buy from PCspecialist
Screen Quality :
Personnally i think it's awesome, maybe i'm wrong but i think it's adaptive sync, i didn't experience tearing with VSYNC disabled (edit: finally i see some Tearing in The Witcher 3, so)
GREAT: color, contrast, smoothness, no ghosting, refresh rate
GOOD: Brightness
SO SO: Some Backlight bleed at two spot, not huge but it's here
BAD: Nothing
Battery :
I haven't really been able to fully test yet but with the appropriate settings i think i can reach 6h to 7h, Silent Mode and XTU 30W P1 20W P2 -50mv
Gaming performance: Silent and Gaming mode without costumization in XTU, all ultra
Gears Tactics : 115fps 130fps
Sea of thives : 130fps 140fps
Kingdom Come : 80fps 90fps
The Witcher 3 (With mod) : 80fps 90fps
COD Warzone : 100fps 110fps
World of Warships : 144fps locked
With Undervolting and tweaking you can get Gaming mode fps in Silent mode (Gears Tactics Silent -100mv 45w 35w 130fps)
Thermals:
It's hot, there is 3 mode, Silent, Gaming and Beast,
/!\ There will be changes in Control Center and BIOS soon so it is not final /!\
Silent : Max temp 80° Fan low CPU 100W
Gaming: Max temp 85° Fan middle/high CPU 120W
Beast: Max temp 85° Fan high CPU 120W (If i remember correctly)
Personnally i prefer play in Silent profile, indeed i customize it with XTU to 45w P1 40w P2 instead of 100w, same performance but less heat and sound from fan
I wish we will be able to customize more, i think 85° if fine instead of 80°
In AIDA stress test 5min, with Kryonaut thermal paste, the laptop thermal throttle, in silent i have 2,45ghz all core with no undervolt, 2,55ghz with a cooling pad, and 2,9ghz with -120mv undervolting
The GPU has a big die, don't get too hot, 70° on average, 115w/120w
Undervolting is complex, in BIOS it's blocked to -50mv, in XTU i can do -100mv stable in game with the power corde, but it crash on idle on battery so -50mv max on battery
I did not try to overclock the gpu or undervolt it
Track Pad:
GREAT: Size
GOOD: Precision, Lock system
BAD: Clic noise, and the trackpad loose and generate noise when i tape it
Keyboard:
Good, mid range travel, very compact and layout unusual for me, it take me some time to handle it correctly
Overhall:
GOOD: Windows HELLO works great nice to have, Good and smooth coating finish, with no fringer print, good design, beautiful and sober, light, small footprint for a 17" (same as my old 15"), no flex in keyboard, little flex on screen, open with onehand, good webcam
BAD: Speakers are a little bit weird, hard to configure, sounds not as great as my older laptop (HP OMEN 15 2018)
Fan make a lot of noise, Headset require to play games in gaming and beast mode, in silent mode it's still a little bit anoying, disturbing
Left fan is different than right fan and it make an oscilating noise some time, it's disturbing
many bugs with control center and some crashes
Edit: Speaker sound very well after a DDU uninstall of previous driver, update and reinstall of THX Spatial Audio
Before buying you should wait for the review of BOB (Bob Of All Trade), some issue i have should be already fixed so it's weird.Last edited: May 27, 2020BrightSmith likes this. -

Last night I noticed the Backlight Bleed Amplified in the left corner, clearly visible at 30% luminosity in dark scene in game..
Control Center and BIOS update are coming soon, I will post here the different BIOS and Control Center of different Brand
Personally I use the Eluktronics one -
I personally have the 15"inch Tongfang GM5MPHY (Same as PCspecialist Vyper III & Eluktronics Max-15)
This issues in this video I dot not reqognise, athough there is room for improvement. Laptop works very fine with nice and good temps & fans.BrightSmith likes this. -
Did you notice Backlight Bleed ? Fan oscillating noise ? Loose noise on trackpad when clic or tap ?
-
- No oscillating noise except when gaming the fan's are audible
- No loose of noise when hitting trackpad, but I'm using mouse always external
Nice laptop, one of the best I ever had.
Also heard that "Bob" annouced BIOS update for the Eluktronics versions. And I have the impression that this Bios is for all similar Tongfang laptops, not only the Eluktronics version. So PCSpecialist Vyper III will most likely have the same update as will Sager, Schenker, Mechrevo, Evoo, Overpowerd etc with the same specs (All Tongfang made in China). -
Good to hear, 17" have several issue, yes BIOS should be compatible
If I don't talk nonsense, 15" and 17" have the same Motherboard -
-
- Disable short boost, set power max to 20w, undervolt to -70/80 (XTU)
- Set Windows Eco mod (Battery icon)
- Set eco mod on Intel graphics settings
(I haven't my computer with to post screenshot)
Finally I get 6h30 with Bluetooth and 50% Luminosity.
Ps: You can disable dGPU if you wantLast edited: May 20, 2020 -

You don't have to reboot to disable this option, you moove other setting i suppose
Also there is a guide on this forum to improve battery life if you want to test

Hello
I just come across 3xs system on good price and it looks like thin and light laptop
https://www.scan.co.uk/products/173...-max-q-i7-10875h-16gb-ddr4-1tb-ssdplus2tb-hdd
Can't find what chassis model it is but 19.9 mm thick and 2.3 kg weight -
Speaker sound very well after a DDU uninstall of previous driver, update and reinstall of THX Spatial Audio
(PCspecialist driver and software are bad in majority, most are very old and incompatible)Last edited by a moderator: May 27, 2020 -
I have been closely following your posts and experience with the Vyper. How have you found using the Eluktronics drivers and software on the PCS machine?
Also, do you know if the Vyper has an equivalent to Eluktroboost already hardware installed by the ODM? XMG seemed to indicate that this was done at the factory and that each reseller had access to it and branded it differently.
Thanks!
Raymond -
Eluktronics drivers and softwares work perfectly well,
I haven't be able to determine if I have eluktroboost, I'm waiting for the Max17 review of BOAT,
But I think eluktronics don't do some magical stuff, so if it's deep in the mother board i'ts from factory, and if it's a resistance swap on the motherboard, that can be done after by hand -
Hi NomenAK, thanks for the in-depth details, I have been using the (Singapore) Aftershock VAPOR17X for the past 10 days & it is a very powerful machine and is given to you "as is"
As is meaning that it produces a very high amount of heat to 'hit' 5.1Ghz.
It is highly recommended to perform undervolting in your choice software to really bring out the most of this machine, rationale:
1) CPU in default state loves to ramp up to max turboboost, introducing enormous amount of heat
2) Reduces the shared thermal cooling capacity with the GPU which is important for gaming
3) Battery life woes? I've started with using Intel XTU then to ThrottleStop and went back to XTU in the end.
Been using this configuration, stable for me 100% in my gaming and day to day use over the past 7 days.
Configuration that I'm still fine-tuning:
1) Settle on a -110mv undervolt to the core and cache
2) Reduced the turboboost short term power to 80w
3) Reduced long term turboboost power to 50w
4) Reduced single core to 42x and -1 per core till 35x on 8 cores
Addtionally, overclock on the GPU via afterburner:
1) +140 on core
2) +300 on memory
Real-life performance (connected to 3440 x 1440p, 100hz freesync monitor with G-Sync enabled via usb-c to usb-c monitor connection):
COD MW Warzone: - with mid-high graphic settings: 125fps avg
Assassin's Creed Odyssey: - with mid-high graphic settings: 80fps avg
Temperatures for the above two games: GPU: 73* Celsius CPU: 83* Celsius
3dMark Firestrike (Demo) [Connected to internal display only]: 19,559* (achieved with running higher clocks for benchmarking, not advisable for gaming)
https://www.3dmark.com/fs/22756787 *Believe this is one of the highest score on this setup that is NOT using liquid metal
Questions:
1) Not yet ventured into adjust the iccmax, however there is little resource on this & how it affects performance, is anyone able to shed some light on this?
2) Any way to get into the 20k Firestrike?
3) Felt that XTU was more reliable than ThrottleStop, could go higher in XTU than Throttlestop for undervolting.
4) Annoying Control Center software does not remember state of KB backlight & front strip LED, have to turn it on manually upon reboot. (BIOS option doesn't make it stay permanently on either)
5) Aftershock has limited the BIOS, cannot adjust FN key toggle option and RAM timings
6) Possible to flash BIOS of another manufacturer (Eluktronics?)
7) Also keen to find out if this machine has this 'Eluktroboost'
8) Even with all the necessary power tweaks, machine is unable to last longer than 3hrs on battery?
Appreciate your comments & hope I can answer any questions pertaining to this machine.
Build quality is really fantastic & hope this laptop lasts me awhile..
Best,
Russ -

To finetune audio, someone tried the software 'Peace' + 'Equalizer APO'? Is free and you can define in detail the Eq...
https://sourceforge.net/projects/peace-equalizer-apo-extension/
Does miracles for laptops with mediocre audio speakers... -
-
ibuyed it too... mine is on pre production...you waited much for shipment? -
finally i received laptop since 2 days. Here's my impression (pcs vyper 17.3).
Build= very quality chassis, sturdy, with great thermal design (but temps are high cause of high specced components)
Keyboard=good in terms of typing experience, very precise and good keycaps actuation (membrane!). One HUGE downside, it is not NKEY rollover, so if you press more than 4 key per time it will not register the input, very bad on a gaming laptop.
Hw= 10875 is great, push easy 4000 points on r20 (-50mv maximum on bios); 2070 super is a minor upgrade coming from my older 2070 maxP, but it push a good 10% better frame, not bad.
Sw= Control center have good options but is not mature, it is not refined, and can be buggy at times... anyway it works.
Audio=mediocre, thx is bad as f... so buggy application, it even go crazy when put or remove headphone via 3.5 jack; i think that i will remove and use modded driver used by some people that say it is much better on max 17.
Thermals= i specced with mx4 thermal paste instead of stock, is very good on gpu side, 70-75 degrees, same bad thing as any other intel laptop on cpu with easy 95° degrees (lost cause). Anyway capping the cpu to 3ghz with TS let the pc run at about 75°, very good.
Screen= my unit has a BOE, seems good, at least on par as my older rog on the big scheme of things (maybe better and worse in some aspects)
So far this lap seems to be awesome even if audio sw is so bad and key without nkey. Design is so minimal that i love and it push pretty hard fps on games, a very beast.Installed64 and alexnvidia like this. -
Hey guys, I too bought a TongFang GM7MPOP, With a RTX2060, i´m very happy with the laptop, its a big jump from my old Clevo P170, and is very quiet even in games.
But i have one question my bios dont have the special function mode neither the q-key function.
You can see by the review from BOAT that the bios has that options, mine not. I live in europe and the brand of the pc is INPHETECH, i install the Eluktronics control center and work like a charm.
The bios version is the N.1.05, and the EC is 1.13.00.100, ME Firmware say consumer SKU with FW version 14.0.31.1120.
Can you help me in this issue?Last edited: Jul 26, 2020 -

Getting a full changelog from 1.03 would be useful though. Not sure why there's so much "secrecy" around bios updates for these chassis. -
https://ufile.io/285neqt2
note that instruction are not even precise as they talk about gm5 instead of our gm7 -
Someone with Eluktronics Max 17 (or Max 15) can contact me ? i'm searching for a BIOS, if you can contact Eluktronics to ask their a BIOS or if you can backup yours it would be very very nice (it's safe and i can explain how, very simple), other manufacturer provide bios with less option and not update as much as yours.
-
i still don't understand why we can't set white illumination on keyboard...
-
if someone want a better tuned equalization for this laptop speakers try this (i fine tuned 2 hours this eq):
Don't use volume leveling except if your audio source have love volume, cause it modify drastically audio fidelity even if it work on his purpose.
Let me know if you find it good on your laptops...i am finally a bit happier with thx audio with this eq even if audio quality is not on par with some other modded dolby audio drivers (i reverted to thx cause micrphone seems to not be properly detected by one game).victorgm likes this. -
I have the same device (10875h and 2070 super) from a Turkish reseller, but they donot provide any bios updates. please can you share bios update from eluktronics, I want to try?
device code is: GM7MPHP -
Heads up: apparently PCSpecialist has released new drivers for everything on Aug 31st. There's also some new stuff like an update to the touchpad firmware. Gonna try to investigate on what's new and if there's some new BIOS update to go along with it.
