    Hi,

My Znote 6615WD has been getting pretty hot for about a year now, and tonight I decided to do something about it. I read a couple of posts which described the "opening" of other Zepto computers, and I didn't sound to complicated. It turned out I didn't have a small enough screwdriver to remove the last four screws, so I decided to screw back up.
Here my problems started. I can't get the keyboard to fit correctly. It pops up, either in one side or the other, and some of the buttons "Alt", "Alt Gr" and some other non-essentials are nok responding. But far worse, the wifi is not working. The Device manager tells me that "The device could not start (Code 10)", and the suggested solution is to update the drivers. I did that, with no effect. I tried disabling and then enabling the wifi, but to now effect.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with the wifi? I didn't touch it (On purpose anyway, or at least I didn't notice that I did.)
And does anyone have a good technique to fit the keyboard in - Or am I going to have to do the horrible thing and sent it in?

    I thank you in advance

I'm afraid I havent got an answer for your wifi issue but here is a German link with pictures about a 6615 keyboard replacement which I 'used' myself to get a bit more info before I did my 1st cleaning job.

The keys that aren't responding, are probably due to the keyboard cable not fitted properly. (Keyboard cable pic).
You will simply have to refit that cable (it happened to me also).

About the keyboard, when you've refit the keyboard cable and made sure that all the keys function, first make sure that the keyboard is placed properly; pressing it down gently so that the small metal part that sticks out a bit(below the down&right arrow key as in this pic) is stuck below the plastic that should hold it down.
I started with sliding the top side of the keyboard in and actually a bit more than the final position, then I pressed the left and then the right side in place.
After that it's fairly simple to slide the keyboard down to it's final position.
When it's seated properly, there should be the same amount of space (couple of mm) between the case and keyboard on the top- and bottom side of the keyboard, only then tighten the screws for the keyboard.
(I'm sorry, I can't explain it better, my Engrish is rather limited).
    Cheers.

Thank you - That was a quite exhaustive reply :) I'm going to try it out when I get home.

Edit: I've managed to put the keyboard in place, but the alt, alt gr and "right-click"-buttons still don't work, despite having reattached the keyboard cable multiple times.

I tried removing my wificard and reinserting it, then removing it from the device manager, and adding it again, but to no avail.
