Has anyone tested a Tuxedo notebook? I've just learned about them, and they seem really good for the price, at that sweet spot around 1.4kb/3lbs, with 16 or 32GB RAM, matte screen, Thunderbolt, illuminated keyboard, SATA + M2. SSD, 12h claimed battery life, aluminum body, quiet and Linux preinstalled. All are custom built. Some are even fanless, others have discrete graphics. Assembled in Germany.

This beats by far the customization abilities of Dells or Thinkpads. With the tons of quality control issues that have been plaguing the Thinkpads, I'm really curious about a Tuxedo as my next Linux laptop.

However, I haven't seen any reviews on this site. Notebookcheck has a very comprehensive review, but it's for an older 2017 model. This guy says cooling is inferior to the Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition.
