I find interesting that the display is WXGA resolution 1280 x 768 and very bright, the case is magnesium, optical drive integrated. I am surprised, however, that the model with 1.1GHz ULV processor is still equipped with a fan.
Edit: The producer's specs

my friend who sells laptops said this one is highly inferior to the Fujitsu P7010.
lots of bad remarks from him thus resulting in the low price. -
I've seen this exact machine on Averatec, called the 1000 series. Now, did Twinhead rebrand the Averatec or vice versa? I have also heard many negative reviews of the notebook, it seems poorly constructed though I had used several times a display model at CompUSA and came away impressed. The screen on it is fantastic I must say, one of the best I have ever seen. Its a matte screen, but brighter than most of the glossy screens I've seen now in most notebooks.
Heres the link for the Averatec 1000

You are right, rahulnirmal, Averatec is using this model as barebone for its AV 1050 notebook. However, the reviews of AV 1050 appear to be rather nice, and the majority of owners seem to be happy if judged accorrding to the comments to these review. I personally haven't seen this notebook, so I don't know.

Ah, so you say Twinhead is the orignal manufacturer of this notebook and that Averatec just rebranded it? I see...
Well, theres serveral users of this notebook over at www.averatecforums.com if you wanna ask questions about it.
I saw the Averatec 1000 back in June at CompUSA and was extremely impressed by it, especially the screen. In fact, its screen is one of the best I've ever seen! Its brighter than most notebooks that have glossy displays yet its screen is matte, thus giving less glare than glossy notebooks, so it has the pros of the glossy screens but none of its cons!
Compusa no longer carries this model however Bestbuy, Costco and Sams Club do. -
It seems that the same barebone is used also in Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook P7010.
-
Yeah, I noticed how similar it looked to the P7010D.
