Dear all,
I have a zepto 6224W and run Ubuntu 8.04 beta (hardy heron). I have several questions that I have not found the answer to by googling.
1) Has anybody managed to get suspend or hibernation to work
a) Perfectly by closing the lid, or
b) Reasonably by entering some command or clicking buttons.
It seems the computer can go into suspend, but the screen does not wake up (it stays black).
2) The laptop tends to get very warm and rather loud. Does anybody know how to undervoltage and throttle the damn thing in Ubuntu? (RMclock works like a charm on my M$ partition)
The advice at the Zepto homepage to blow out dust from the computer to deal with heat is just a joke![]()
3) How can I reprogram the "special" squarish buttons above the keyboard in Ubuntu?
/Douglas

to be able to use hibernation in ubuntu you need a swap partition with atleast the same size as you ram memory.
but this sounds exactly like the problem i have with hibernation in vista.
there is a program called cpu-freq i think for ubuntu, that you can use to change the speed for cpu, but i think you need som extra programs
3 sec google: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UndervoltingHowto
