The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    After all this wait, I've decided to join this forum (been checking this site out from time to time ). I miss our old forum site and hope that all our members come here. Or maybe someone else can create another Averatec Forum site! :eek:

    afterburner1 is back.
    What happend to the old forum that it can't get back up and will we ever see it again? Also was the HHD backed up; there was a great deal of useful info on the site!

    It's not the same - here that is -- but what the heck.

    I like having the old forum where the forum was broken up by laptop version. It's been quite awhile and we should've hear something about the old forum.

    I signed up many moons ago on the Averatec forum, but never posted. A gleaned a bit of info from there some time ago, and when I began having trouble with my 4100, I tried to go back, but it was gone! Months went by, and every now and then I'd check, only to find that it was still gone!

    So, anyway, here I am. Count me as an Averatec forum refugee.

    ...And yes, my 4100 is still acting up. :rolleyes:
