    I have a 6214W with 1.66 ghz dual core.
And I spoke with zepto about replacing it for a faster one.
They said that it could be Intel core duo or Intel core duo 2 didnt matter.
And it should have 800 FSB at most and he also said that max speed for a 800 FSB duo is 2.26ghz. But I seen online that there are 2.6ghz duo 2s with FSB 800 they should work also right?

What happends if I add a Duo 3ghz with a faster FSB crash or not starting or what? (Im happy with 2.6ghz but just intressted to know)

Anyone know what socket Znote 6214W uses? (forgot to ask)
Would love to add more RAM too but 2Gb seems to be max for 6214W.

I would take a strong look at the heat output of any core (2) Duo.
The small form factor of the 6214 with a more or less hot Go7600 doesn't leave much room for a processor if it produces much heat.
The single fan might be too little for a Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz.
Zepto itself, limited the choice of possible processors on the 6214 after users reported heat-related issues when having a too hot processor.
I'd say, stick with the advised 2.26 GHz proc as a max.
    Cheers.
